A Diamond Just Past Mile Post 17?
We received a post card advertisement in the mail for a Christmas tree farm that looked too good to be true a couple of weeks ago. Since it was only a few miles from home we decided to give it a shot. So right after mile post 17 on hwy 22 there it was, the cutest, nicest Christmas tree farm we could imagine! It was so organized. They had laminated maps of the farm, tree trailers, free cookies, cider, hot chocolate, cute crafts to buy, and they even surprised us by tying our tree on our car while we were warming up. We have now found where we plan on going for years to come!!!YEAH!
Alexis really enjoyed the farm and finding little trees

Then we found our tree!

Presley has started to Walk!!!!!!!!!!
Here is a clip of Presley taking some of her first fearless steps. Watch out world here comes Presley! FYI this video isn't the greatest.
Presley turned 1
Boy time is flying by! Presley turned one on November 19th. We had a party at Walery's pizza. The color scheme was lime green and pink. I decided to make the cupcakes and her personal cake. I had originally planned on getting a free cake from Roth's but apparently they no longer give a free cake for first birthdays and charge $5.99! So brave me made her one and I was quite proud of myself, not to toot my own horn or anything. We were joined by lots of wonderful friends and family. She was spoiled by everyone. Thank you!

Our Halloween Weekend
| Make a Smilebox scrapbook |
Our Halloween actually started on Thursday with Alexis dressing up and trick r treating at playschool. All of the little kids dressed up and went from classroom to classroom. Then on Friday evening I at the last minute decided to take them trick r treating downtown Stayton. It wasn't raining or dark which made it much easier on everyone. Alexis dressed up as tinker bell and Presley was a polar bear. The whole event only took about 30 minutes. A lot of businesses had already ran out of candy when we got there at 5pm so if we go again I will get there at 4pm when it starts.
On Halloween I luckily started to feel better and we kicked the evening off at a Halloween party at Brady and Chelsea's house. We always have such a great time at their parties and I really lucked out with a soup buffet! After that we met up with the Olheiser clan for some door to door treating. The kids were a lot of fun this year other then having to pee all the time. Good thing there was some not well light spots! Our holiday ended with the largest Jack-O-lantern we have ever seen. Thank you Grandpa!

Happy Halloween!
I'm hoping I feel better by tonight to go trick 'r' treating with the kiddos. I'm so tried of feeling terrible. Luckily my very nice father in law stopped by and took Alexis for the morning. So I'm crossing my fingers that I will feel better!

Pumpkin Craving
Last night we finally craved our pumpkins. Since the kiddos are so little its very hard for them to be a part of this activity so we had to get creative. Nick Jr. has printable stencils of their cartoon characters that we let Alexis chose from. She picked a Dora stencil. Josh had to cut out the tiny pieces for her to color in on the pumpkin. I thought this was no big deal but it really was a task and took roughly an hour for him to complete.

Thanks to Josh's mad craving skills the pumpkins turned out great! Thanks babe.

Disney On Ice
Thursday we took the girls to see Disney on Ice. It ended up that we had great seats that were centered with the stage. We bought what was cheapest so we didn't expect to have very good seats. Alexis was very excited to see all the characters in person. She really wanted to get a glow stick but luckily we found out that they were $20 before we agreed to buy one. Daddy did buy her a very cute tinker bell necklace to take home. Everyone had a great time despite it being so late. Alexis even passed out with a sucker in her hand before we hit I-5.

Alexis' 1st Day of Playschool
Today Alexis had her first day of playschool. It is at Stayton High and lasts 8 weeks. I had no clue where it was. Of course I ended up parking very far away from the correct building but luckily I was able to follow the mini van path to get to the right spot. She jumped right into the activities and didn't even realize that I had left. In true Alexis fashion she through a fit not wanting to leave when I picked her up. That was really embarrassing! Needless to say it reminded me why I was so happy when I found out about this program. I can't wait until tomorrow!

NW Kid's Club & 11 months old
Presley is 11 months old today! This means only one month until she is a year :( . Lately she has been pointing kinda of like E.T. She has also started shaking her head up & down in response to a question. I am starting to slowly wean her, roughly one less feeding a day. Oh I just can't believe this year has gone by so fast.
Other then my baby almost not being a baby anymore today we went the NW Kids Club with some friends. Everyone had a good time and the sand box was a huge hit with my children.

Oh Sister!
A few evenings ago I was cleaning up the kitchen when I noticed the girls were playing ball. Alexis was rolling it to Presley and she would roll it back. Now of course I thought this was cute but decide to document them getting along for the future. I have three sisters and know there are times that it seems like we've never liked each other so when they are teenagers I will show them these pictures!

Presley's first Halloween costume!
I found a super cute lady bug costume and couldn't resist snatching it up for Presley's first Halloween. Well to be honest I called every Fred Meyers from here to Tillamook looking for one in her size and finally found one in Keizer. I really wanted her to be a ladybug! Anyways here are her 10 month pictures...

Apparently the costume was an appropriate fit.

Friday Flashback
I was going through Alexis' baby clothes and happen to come across her Bears cheer leading outfit. I decided to pull it out for Presley to wear during football season. Of course it was cute and reminded me of how it looked on Alexis. Here are some pics of my kids being brainwashed into being Bears fans!
